In my old blog, every Friday was a Friday Facts time. Due to my lack of Fridays to myself nowadays, I’ve skipped last Friday Facts. Oops. Before that I also had to post a Friday Facts on a Saturday due to exam. I should have called it “Friday Facts that turned Saturday Fact” but noooooo, I had to call it Friday Facts too. One reason is because “Saturday Facts” does not have the same pizzazz as “Friday Facts”. Being a fan of alliteration, I can’t possible call it Saturday Sacts. See, even the mere word sounds so wrong. The second reason is that English is my second language. I don’t know the connection between having it as a second language and putting things on different days, but it’s an excuse that works well in Uni.
Prof/Lecturer/Tutor: Why did you (insert academic related enquiry)?
Me: Uh, I’m sorry sir/miss/mam. English is my second language.
Prof/Lecturer/Tutor: Ah. Alright.
See? I hope this excuse works as well in blogosphere. People, English is my second language! :p
This week Friday Facts are not compiled (read: copy and pasted) by me. I’d like to bring your attention to a delightful book that houses a treasure troves of facts, compiled by Isaac Asimov. The book descriptions as read:

And you know what? The book is free from Google books. Thank you Google, what would I do without you?
So next time when I forgot/missed another Friday Facts time, I’ll be easily forgiven because I have supplied you with a lifetime of facts from that little book. :p

I’m off for my weekly weekend commute. Honestly speaking, commuting for an hour every Friday afternoon is slowly eating my sanity. The things you do for love…or something like that.
