I’m just deliriously happy.

Thanks to everyone for wishing me a happy, merry birthday last Sunday. I wish I could thank everyone personally. I have thanked most of you personally though. But what’s with getting birthday wishes on sms, on facebook, on friendster, on myspace, online…I’m just overwhelmed. Thanking some of you in the blog is a bit on the impersonal side, I suppose, but I’m being cautious. I don’t think I’ve missed thanking anyone, and I will get right down to thanking people I haven’t thanked yet. But to be on the safe side, I’m still saying my thanks here.

Thanks to those people who threw me a bash! Three different bashes from three different group of friends! I love you all. And my birthday celebration has not ended. Haha. I still have a standing invitation for sushi buffet (yay!) and Hero is coming home this weekend for 2 weeks.

What I got for my birthday?

1. Beauty products (aww thanks a lot guys! So I suppose y’all know how vain I am, haha)
2. Acrylic nails done for free. They are absolutely gorgeous and it was worth $65.
3. Perfumes.
4. Chocolate pudding pie (so heavenly!)
5. Bath set. Not that useful now because taking a long bath will have to involve me getting waterproof lecture notes, but I love it!
6. New shoes
7. New bags
8. A drawing of me, that scarily accurately looks like me. At this point, I cried from being so touched. But I still find the artist rendition very scary…it’s like looking in the mirror and have your reflections stare back at you…in pencil. Haha!
9. Eye lotion.
10. Chocolates of every imaginable kinds. I’m going to gain 5kg from this alone.
11. Food, food and more food!
12. Three crazy friends calling from Europe singing me happy birthday on the phone.
13. Friends spending the whole afternoon cooking so that I get homemade food for my birthday.

I’m just so extremely touched by everything! It shows me that even I have a diverse set of friends, their similar quality is that they care so much about me. *sob*

Of course there were some boo-boos to the day but I’m choosing to forget the boo-boos. Or talk about it some other day. Or maybe not. It wouldn’t do my friends justice after they have all come together for my sake, to have me complains about little things in this entry.
