Because from my extensive experience with wood stoves (as in, spent half my life in wood heated houses!), ashes don`t really sweep up, they just smear. :) That being said, it`s gorgeous and I`m totally jealous! I want one sooooo bad, but there`s no room in this dinky house of mine. Maybe in the bathroom . . . Also, for some super Yin, try a couple of doilies. That will get the teasing going!
